14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices can now download and install a new flavor of myTube, one of the most popular YouTube clients for Microsoft’s mobile operating system.
The application was designed to provide users with the ability to continue enjoying the playback of a video even when performing other actions.
“myTube is a YouTube app designed to keep your video playing no matter what you do. By overlaying the interface above the video, you can continue to read, browse, or even leave the app while your video plays,” the app’s description reads.
The updated flavor of the mobile application arrives on devices with a fix for the issue where only the first loaded video worked, as well as with auto-play support for playlists, in addition to various other bug fixes.
Furthermore, the new app iteration brings along non-English language support, while also offering the possibility to play only the audio of a video, so that users can listen to it while performing other actions on their devices.
myTube for Windows Phone 8 offers support for 720p videos, Favorites and Watch Later, the option to rate, comment and share videos, and the possibility to browse through playlists, and add videos to your own.
“Even when playing HD videos, myTube won't skip a beat, resulting in what may be the smoothest YouTube experience you can get on your phone,” the app’s description reads.
Other features of the mobile client include:

myTube for Windows Phone 8 costs $0.99 (€0.75), but also features a trial version for those interested in taking it for a spin before making a purchase.
“The trial version limits you to watching 1 hour of video in every 3 hours, then you will have to wait 10 minutes to continue watching. This may change in the future,” the app’s publisher explains.
