Sonico GmbH has announced the release of iTranslate Voice 2, the new version of its voice-to-voice translator that has been retooled from the ground up, complete with a visual overhaul.

The developer says, “The magical voice-to-voice translator has been redesigned and reimagined for iOS 7, including new features such as support for iOS7 offline voices, universal binary for iPhone and iPad, and much more!”

For those who aren’t very familiar with the software, iTranslate lets you speak into your phone and immediately hear yourself speaking in one of the 42 languages supported.

New features and improvements in version 2.1.1 include the iOS 7 redesign, support for iOS 7 offline voices (faster translations), better AirTranslate with new iOS 7 P2P technology, suggestions while editing, improved voice recognition, much faster translation results, and even a new application icon.

You can now download iTranslate Voice 2 either for iPhone or iPad at the same link, as the app is now a universal binary.
