Epson has released its first projection app that beams documents and photos to Epson projectors via iPhone or iPad. Targeting mobile professionals and education employees alike, the new app arrives in the neck of time to be coupled with Apple’s new iBooks textbooks and iTunes U.

Available as a free download from the iTunes App Store, iProjection enables wireless projection from most iOS devices. It requires iOS 4.2 or later and boasts support for cloud file services like Dropbox.

Epson believes iProjection is a must-have in a classroom environment, as it allows teachers the flexibility to move about while simultaneously sharing larger-than-life content.
