Apple has released a new iOS 7 beta to developers featuring several aesthetic tweaks, as well as numerous under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes.

According to the company’s email sent out to developers worldwide, “iOS 7 beta 5 and Xcode 5 Developer Preview 5 are now available on the iOS Dev Center.”

As a developer you are encouraged to download these new assets “and start developing your apps to take advantage of new multitasking APIs, dynamic motion controls in UIKit, AirDrop, Sprite Kit, enhanced video APIs, new features in Game Center and Map Kit, and so much more.”

Early adopters are already reporting graphical tweaks across the system, including new icons in the Settings app, more Yahoo integration, the ability to disable Control Center while in apps, performance improvements in all areas, new in-call icons, and much more.

Developers looking to grab iOS 7 Beta 5 can do so over the air (OTA) from a previous iOS 7 beta, or via the iOS Dev Center.
