Apple is offering iOS 7.1 Beta 4 for download, as the company moves forward with the development of its upcoming software update for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users worldwide.

The Cupertino company has sent out a memo via email addressing enrolled developers, stating, “iOS 7.1 beta 4 and Xcode 5.1 beta 4 are available on the iOS Dev Center. Download these new releases today and test your existing apps for compatibility.”

After they sign in to the iOS Dev Center, developers are then greeted by the following message:

“This is a pre-release version of iOS 7.1 beta 4 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Devices updated to iOS 7.1 beta 4 can not be restored to earlier versions of iOS.”

Build 11D5134c goes onto devices from 2010 and newer, including iPhone 4, iPad 2, and iPod touch 5th-generation. To download iOS 7.1 beta 4, testers must have a paid subscription with Apple’s iOS Developer Program.
