Managing the iCloud account from the comfort of your desktop isn’t such a difficult job if you’re using the right piece of software and iCloud Control Panel for Windows can really come in handy in this regard.

The Cupertino-based firm today rolled out the 2.0 version of the app, offering you enhanced features to manage music, photos and documents

The interface remains intuitive and straightforward, displaying mail, contacts, calendars and tasks right in the main window. In addition, you get bookmarks and photo stream managing options at one-click distance, so it’s basically enough to log in with your iCloud account and you’re ready to go.

Obviously, an iCloud account is required, but if you want to create one you need an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 5, or a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.2 or later.

iCloud Control Panel for Windows 2.0 is also available on Softpedia and can be downloaded for free using this link.
