14 DAY TRIAL // foobar2000 1.1.12 was finally wrapped up into the stable version over the weekend. The modifications for this release are mostly fixes, but some new features and improvements also made their way in.
Among these, there is the possibility to use HDCD & DTS decoder components with ALAC and MP3 tag-reading behavior has changed when multiple tags are present, with ID3v2 content taking priority over APE and then ID3v1. On the same note, conversion or ReplayGain-scanning can now prevent the computer from automatically going to sleep.
Although the betas preceding this stable release constantly improved and refined the functionality of the player, not all the problems were solved. The result is the release of a hotfix that repaired a regression in the final build, making the stable version 1.1.12a.
