The fifth release in the award winning Civilization IV series for Mac, Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization is described by Aspyr as “a re-imagining of the classic Colonization strategy game Sid Meier created in 1994.
According to the studio, “this provides a new game experience in which you lead a European nation on a quest to colonize the thrive in the New World.
“Explore, trade, fight, and guide your people from the oppressive motherland. Ultimately you can battle for your freedom and independence!”, reads the game’s description.
Minimum system requirements include Mac OS X 10.6.6, Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83 GHz, 1GB RAM, 1GB free HDD space, 128MB video memory (VRAM), and ATI Radeon X1600 or Nvidia Geforce 8600.
