Digital Chocolate has launched Zombie Lane on Apple’s iDevices, enabling gamers to kill zombies on-the-go while on lunch breaks or while waiting in line.

Mobile Zombie Lane challenges you to rescue your spouse and pet, and to rebuild your home after a zombie attack. Players craft weapons from household items as they watch out for the dangerous firemen, plumber and super-sized zombies.

Digital Chocolate says it designed this iOS version to match the efficient swipe and tap mechanics perfectly. The game also takes advantage of the social aspects of the platform, the developer said.

Originally released in March on Facebook and introduced to the Google+ Games in August, the iPhone version of Zombie Lane is available as a free download from the iTunes App Store. The game is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later.

I play this on facebook and just found out of the iphone app. But you can not link it to your facebook game, just your facebook. Whats the point of starting all over again? Unless they fix this or I'm missing something, im not playing it for the iphone... even though it runs alot smoother than the computer
