Google has just updated its YouTube application for Android device with new features and improvements, which are meant to enhance users' overall experience.

Those who own devices powered by Android 4.2 and above will be pleased to know that the developers have confirmed that they have improved the video quality on these smartphones and tablets.

Furthermore, the latest version of the application now comes with YouTube Mix automatic playlists for music videos. You will also be able to share and like playlists. According to the devs, all personal playlists as well as those liked will show up in the left-hand guide drawer.

New features have been included as well, such as the option to reply to comments or even delete your own comments. Another comments-related feature added via this update will allow users to see if a comment was shared privately or publicly.

Those who already have the application installed on their devices should update to the latest version, while new users can now download YouTube for Android 5.6.35 for free via Google Play Store.

Keep in mind that the application has been confirmed to work on most devices powered by Android 2.2 and up. Given the fact that this is a staged rollout, it might take a while until the latest version of YouTube shows up in your Google Play store.
