Google has just released a new version of YouTube on Play Store, so Android users should expect an update notification to pop up on their phones pretty.

Unfortunately, there's no telling what's new in version 2.3.28, as developers did not released an official changelog for this update, so we must assume there aren't any major new features added.

Some bug fixes and minor improvements might have been added, along with a few tweaks, but for the time being we can't really confirm it.

Given the fact there aren't any users reports claiming the update breaks the application, we recommend updating to the latest version of YouTube as soon as it becomes available.

You can now download YouTube for Android 2.3.28 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up.
