Google has released a new version of its YouTube application for iOS devices, enhancing some of the existing features, while adding some new ones. The YouTube iOS client has come a long way since its inception in the original iPhone software in 2007 and, while some things are actually worse than before, you can’t blame Google for constantly trying to satisfy us all.
In the latest update to the official YouTube app, Google has included an option to allow us to select video quality on Wi-Fi networks. Some accessibility improvements are also mentioned, alongside iOS 7 compatibility improvements.
YouTube only requires iOS 6 to run on your iDevice, and works with most iPhones and iPads out there, as well as iPod touch players.
