14 DAY TRIAL // Yahoo! has released a 3.0 update to its main iPhone app adding quick summaries for news stories served up via natural-language algorithms.
After acquiring Summly, Yahoo! quickly integrated its functionality in the official Yahoo! iOS app as “summaries by Yahoo!”.
Version 3.0 also includes personalized stories based on your interests, a prettier article layout, an endless visual stream of stories, the ability to select topics you want more stories about, and a revamped web search experience.
The Yahoo! iOS app also includes Yahoo! Messenger, Address Book & Calendar, as well as RSS feeds, sport scores, stock quotes, movie theaters, weather, and more.
Requirements include iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. The Yahoo! app runs on iOS 5.1 or later versions and is fully optimized for iPhone 5.
