Alongside its latest OS X test builds, on Tuesday, Apple rolled out a new version of Xcode to developers. Xcode is Apple’s digital toolset for iOS and Mac OS development.

Xcode 4.4 Developer Preview 4 is immediately available for download to all registered developers reaping the benefits of pre-release software through Apple’s various distribution channels.

The release notes have not been made official, while no developer has been keen to share the documentation with Mac centric publications this time around. The only thing we know is that Xcode 4.4 DP4 requires either OS X Mountain Lion or OS X Lion.

Those interested in grabbing the latest Xcode version for regular folks can access the Mac App Store via the link below and download Xcode 4.3.2 for Lion.
