An updated flavor of the Xbox Video application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone 8.1 devices, namely version 2.6.181.0 (it is available as version 1.6.181.0 on Windows Phone 8).

The new application iteration arrives with a variety of bug fixes inside, as well as with a series of improvements that should result in a better overall experience with it.

According to the release notes, the full screen button has been fixed in this app flavor and is once again available during playback.

Moreover, users should no longer experience choppiness after resuming playback, and will also see that resumed playback won’t start a few seconds after the point they left off.

Additionally, the app resolves an issue where resume location was lost when turning on and off closed captions, the release notes available via Microsoft's User Voice portal reveal.

Other fixes in this release include one for a bug that prevented personal video from being deleted, and another where restoring purchase history did not restore all items. Another resolved problem was related to certain season passes, which had issues acquiring a download license.

The new version of the Xbox Video for Windows Phone application is already available for download via the official Windows Phone Store.
