Officially unveiled back in June, Microsoft's Xbox SmartGlass for Android has just been released and is now available for download via Google Play store.

With Xbox SmartGlass application, users will be able to browse their Xbox 360 with swipe and tap, or even use their Android phones' keyboards to type to their consoles.

Navigating the Internet on the Xbox 360 with full keyboard and zooming is now possible thanks to the Xbox SmartGlass application.

Android users will also be able to connect with their Xbox friends, compare or track their achievements, as well as change their 3D avatar.

However, keep in mind that the application requires an Xbox membership to sign in. In addition, it's only compatible with most Android 4.0+ smartphones with WVGA screen resolution or higher. Check it out here.
