The newest version for XYplorer (12.20.0300) brings to the table improvements for navigating to various files on your computer either by using two buttons on the mouse or just four keys.

Pressing combinations of Ctrl, Shift and Tab should help you open up the match list, move up and down in it or update it to current list item, while Enter makes the desired selection.

This is called “4 Key Navigation” by the developer and in order to use it you have to set the Filter to "Files and Folders" or "Folders only" and enable “Address Bar” under Configuration>Controls and More>Auto-Complete Path Names.

For those that rely on the mouse to get from one place to another, the developer added the possibility to click their way to the desired file. The principle and the settings are the same as in the case of the keyboard, only this time it is mouse buttons you’re pressing. More details are available here.
