Although Blizzard Entertainment’s website doesn’t list the update as being available yet, the folks at macgamefiles have a World of Warcraft 3.2.0a, which contains the following installer: “WoW-3.2.0.10192-to-3.2.0.10314-enUS-patch.app.” The patch is available for World of Warcraft players in different languages, including French, German, Spanish and Russian.

The highly anticipated Patch 3.2 for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was greeted with immense excitement by the WoW community earlier this month, which has downloaded the patch a few thousand times on Softpedia alone. Upon confirming that Patch 3.2 Call of the Crusade was just around the corner on August 4, 2009, WoW.com explained that the update represented the next major content patch for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

According to the popular fan site, a new, five-man dungeon and a new, 10/25-man raid were to be introduced at the Argent Tournament grounds, with a new battleground called The Isle of Conquest also awaiting its release. Easier leveling and a new mount system have been set in place, while “People around Azeroth will be able to enjoy the host of new changes a large content patch brings,” WoW.com said at the time.

Patch 3.2.0a is merely an incremental release, almost 4MB in size, containing a number of bug fixes. Wymdar (bearing a “Blizzard Poster” name plate) writes the following on the World of Warcraft forums: “We’ll be releasing a minor bug fix patch to version 3.2.0a. This sort of patch is very small in size, and we use them to fix specific issues that can’t be hot-fixed.” According to Wymdar, issues addressed in this patch include:

- Fixed an exploit players were using with / commands.
- Fixed a performance issue with players logging into the game.
- Fixed an issue with Mac clients freezing near water.
- Fixed a crash Mac clients were experiencing with shadows on Fixed Function cards.
- Fixed an art issue with Freya Hard Mode where the light beams were visually too hard to see.
- Fixed an issue with Loaner mounts requiring Cold Weather Flying.
