Download WordPress 3.5 RC3, the Final Release Candidate

A new release candidate for WordPress 3.5 has arrived, the third, bringing with it quite a lot of fixes so late in the game. WordPress 3.5 RC3 is probably the final release candidate.

There are only a few minor issues to be fixed, like the about page, before this latest version is ready.

WordPress 3.5 is scheduled to land tomorrow. The latest RC comes with the last few changes to the brand new media manager.

These small UI tweaks were based on feedback from users testing the beta releases or the RCs.

The latest update shows more info for upload errors. The alt-text for post images is now always remembered. The new admin button styles have been polished.

RC3 also comes with final tweaks and fixes for Internet Explorer, mobile devices and right-to-left languages.
