Download WordPress 3.5.1 with Bug Fixes and Security Plugs
The latest update fixes several minor issues and patches some security vulnerabilities
One month and a half after WordPress 3.5 came out, the first minor update, WordPress 3.5.1 is here. A you'd expect, it comes with a few fixes, some tweaks and some security patches, nothing spectacular, but you should definitely get the update anyway.Among the fixes, some HTML elements are now no longer being removed in the editor, a bug that occurred in rare cases, or when publishing scheduled posts.
If you're running WordPress on a Windows ISS server, for whatever reason, a bug can prevent you from upgrading from WordPress 3.5 to 3.5.1. There is a workaround if this happens to you.
Finally, the latest update also plugs some security holes, a couple of XSS vulnerabilities involving shortcodes and posts, an XSS in the Plupload library and a server-side request forgery vulnerability.
WordPress 3.5.1 is available for download here.
