Get the classic Pinball game on your new OS

Microsoft decided to stop offering the classic Pinball game in Windows versions released after the popular XP, mostly due to porting issues, as the company explained yesterday.

And even if Pinball isn't included in Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8, it’s still possible to download, install and play it on any of these platforms.

A standalone MSI installer allows you to download the game on post-XP Windows versions, and as far as we're concerned, no compatibility issues have been spotted so far.

Microsoft explained that it decided to abandon Pinball after Windows XP mostly because porting the game to run on 64-bit versions of the company’s operating system required too much time and delaying Vista just because of a game wasn’t possible at that time.
