Following the release of a software update for the Windows Phone 7 operating system, Microsoft has also delivered some updates for the applications that can be used for updating devices powered by the platform, and the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac is one of them.

The application was designed to offer Mac users the possibility to easily sync their favorite media files from their Mac computers with their new Windows Phone 7 or Zune HD device.

At the same time, the application enables users to sync photos and videos that have been captured with the phone with their MAC, and even to update the Windows Phone 7 platform.

The new flavor of the application would offer users the possibility to easily download and install the Copy&Paste (NoDo) update for their Windows Phone 7 devices as soon as Microsoft decides to push it out to them.

The new release of Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac brings forth enhancements like:

Features: Windows Phone 7 Connector Agent allows customers to configure Windows Phone 7 Connector to start whenever a supported device is connected. Apple Lossless encoded audio files are now supported and synced to devices.

The software can be used with any Windows Phone 7 device, available on any wireless carrier out there, as well as with Zune HD devices. It requires Mac OS 10.6.6 or higher.

With Windows Phone 7 Connector, users can sync content like music, movies, TV Shows and podcasts from their iTunes library to the devices, or sync photos and videos from an iPhoto library to their devices.

The application would also enable them browse and preview media items that are stored on either of the two devices, or import photos and videos from the Windows Phone to an iPhoto library.
