WinZip Computing has announced the release of WinZip 3.5.0 for iOS 7 customers on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, adding direct access to Google Drive and OneDrive, support for iWork files, and more.

The developers proudly state on the iTunes App Store, “WinZip makes it easy to handle Zip and RAR files on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch! Whether you received a Zip or RAR file as an email attachment, or want to download and view the contents of a Zip and RAR file from the web, just ‘Open with WinZIP’.”

In addition to unpacking incoming archives, the full version also allows you to share stuff with others via AirDrop, Apple’s proprietary wireless file-sharing technology. You can also use it to view virtually any kind of file, from Word documents and Excel spreadsheets to photos, keynote presentations, and even movies.

Version 3.5.0 arrives with direct access to Google Drive and OneDrive (in WinZip full version), support for Apple’s well-known iWork productivity suite (including file formats for Pages, Keynote, and Numbers), access to helpdesk when the app fails, and smarter photo compression.

The overall look and feel of the app has been redesigned “to make it easier to navigate, and zip, protect and share files,” according to the developers. Download WinZip for iOS and give it a try today.
