Another day, another version of WhatsApp Messenger for Android gets released. Obviously, we're talking about a beta version, which has yet to be uploaded on Google Play.

Although developers have pushed WhatsApp version 2.9.4207 on the Android app market, the changelog attached to it contains the old changes.

However, there's a new version of the instant messenger available for download via Softpedia, which brings a tons of miscellaneous bug fixes.

The update has been released today and promises to add some performance and translation improvements as well.

This iteration of WhatsApp may not be uploaded to Google Play store, but a newer version might take its place soon. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.

WhatsApp Messenger 2.9.4224 is now available as a free download via the devs' site and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
