WhatsApp Messenger is among the most popular applications for mobile phones. It allows users to send messages for free and does not require payment for the first year of use.

Developers charge WhatsApp Messenger users $1/€1 only after they will have used the application for free for a whole year.

However, it appears that some users experienced issues when trying to send messages in the last 7 days of service.

Devs do not mention whether the issues affect users in the last 7 days of free service or whether this applies to those who paid for it as well.

Anyway, that should not be a problem anymore, as the latest update provides a fix for the inability to send messages when there are less than 7 days remaining of service.

WhatsApp Messenger 2.9.1547 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
