A new flavor of the WhatsApp Messenger application is now available for download for the owners of Symbian-based smartphones, namely version 2.9.6145.

The software has been pushed out only with minor fixes inside, it seems, yet no official changelog for the new app release has been provided as of now.

WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging applications for the owners of Nokia devices, comes with support for all Symbian S60 3rd/5th Edition, Symbian^3, Symbian Anna, and Symbian Belle smartphones.

The cross-platform messenger application enables users to stay connected with their friends and family while on the go. The service is available for free for all users for the first year, and requires a fee of $0.99 / year after that.

Symbian users interested in downloading the new WhatsApp Messenger 2.9.6145 should head over to this page on Softpedia.
