Developers try to address various crashing bugs and glitches

WhatsApp Inc. has pushed out a bug-fix update to address some minor inconveniences with the popular messaging app, including crashes and glitches.

Users on the iTunes App Store seem pretty satisfied with their WhatsApp experience, with almost every customer in part leaving a 4-star or even 5-star review.

But that doesn’t mean everyone is loving WhatsApp. Some users, presumably with older hardware, are reporting that chats keep disappearing for them, while others are experiencing app crashes when opening chats. Some report glitches when attempting to see a conversation in full.

It isn’t clear which of these issues are addressed in WhatsApp 2.11.4, as the developers only say the update includes “bug fixes.” Here’s to hoping it squashes them all.

WhatsApp is an iPhone-only app which requires a phone number for activation, and then allows you to text others without taxing your cellular plan, using the Internet.
