It arrives as a minor update, with no changelog attached

WhatsApp has released yet another update for its WhatsApp Messenger application for Android-based devices, bringing it up to version 2.11.102.

The new software iteration has been pushed out through the company’s own servers, and it cannot be installed through the official Google Play Store at the moment.

The new build is part of a series of small updates that WhatsApp has been releasing to its Android clients, and it should include only a series of small enhancements and performance improvements.

Unfortunately, no official changelog for the new version has been provided as of now, and there’s no telling on what was actually changed inside it. Even so, don’t expect anything major to emerge there.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the application comes with support for all Android 2.1 and newer devices, and that it is free. The service, however, is free for only one year.
