A new flavor of the WhatsApp Messenger is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 2.10.222.

No changelog has been released for the new app iteration, but chances are that it packs mainly bug fixes, along with various performance improvements.

The new release arrives soon after WhatsApp pushed out version 2.10.90 of the Messenger, with a host of bug fixes inside, Serbian language support and an improved treatment of address book duplicates.

WhatsApp is one of the most popular mobile messaging services in the world, that can be used over both 3G and WiFi networks.

The service is available for free for one year, after which users will have to pay $0.99 USD/year. The WhatsApp Messenger offers support for all Android 2.1 and up devices, and can be found on this page on Softpedia.
