A new flavor of the Waze Social GPS Maps & Traffic application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 3.7.3.0.

The new flavor of the application further builds on the enhancements announced a few weeks ago for the application, which now takes advantage of a series of new features that Google has brought to it after purchasing Waze.

Following the update, users will see that the search bar is now accessible on map, and that Google is the default search engine for it.

Furthermore, there is a cleaner map UI for users to enjoy, as elements on map appear based on distance, and duplicate reports are grouped together. The updated software also offers support for 1080p screens, and includes a variety of optimizations and bug fixes.
