Apple is giving developers the heads up regarding WWDC 2.0, the latest version of the company’s iOS app used for streaming videos form current and previous sessions, as well as for browsing times, locations, and descriptions for sessions, labs, and special events.

The Cupertino giant has started sending out emails notifying developers to “Download the updated WWDC app to watch session videos on your iOS device, computer, or big screen.”

The company adds, “You can even favorite sessions to keep track of the videos you want to watch, receive news updates, and see daily conference photos.”

Users will be able to stream videos from current and previous WWDC sessions, mark schedule items as favorites, keep up with the latest news, see daily photos, view maps to find their way around Moscone West, and provide feedback on content and speakers. Developers can even add a pass to Passbook for faster check-in.

The app is also geared towards unlucky developers who weren’t able to nab a ticked at the annual event. Not being on hand to watch the sessions can be disappointing, so Apple worked up this app to give everyone a chance to catch the latest content on the fly.

Compatibility starts at iOS 7.1, which means WWDC 2.0 is supported by iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad second generation, iPad third generation, iPad fourth generation, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display, and iPod touch fifth generation.
