Viber Media, Inc. has released an updated version of its communications application for iOS customers, delivering performance improvements, an onslaught of stickers, instant Hold and Talk, and more.

Viber version 4.0 allows users to download over 1,000 new stickers from the Sticker Market (probably not for free), and includes “significant performance improvements” for all you whiners out there.

An instant “Hold and Talk” function allows users to send bursts of voice messages back and forth with their friends, and you can now forward any text message to a contact or group.

A new background gallery is available, allowing you to freshen up your conversations, while group chats now support up to 100 participants.
