A new flavor of the Viber application is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry smartphones, namely version 2.3.

The new app iteration was made available for download with a series of changes to the user interface, as well as with support for new languages, Arabic and Spanish included.

Furthermore, the new Viber 2.3 for BlackBerry comes with scrolling for messages, and with support for group conversations between up to 40 participants. The app will receive VoIP capabilities by April, TechCrunch notes.

“Viber lets everyone in the world connect. Freely. More than 140 million Viber users call, text, and send photos worldwide - for free,” the software’s description reads.

Viber is available for Android and iOS devices as well, where it sports additional functionality. The BlackBerry flavor of the mobile client can be found on this page in RIM’s official app store.
