Video-on-demand service VEVO has a new iOS client app that offers support for the latest Apple gear, iOS 6 support, and integration with everyone’s favorite social network.
VEVO lets you access 50,000 music videos from more than 11,000 artists, according to the company behind the VOD (video-on-demand) service.
Users can access locally saved playlists without a login and match artists in their music library to VEVO content, a feature reminiscent of Apple’s iTunes Match.
Best of all, there’s a “continuous play” feature that serves up recommendations for videos to play automatically.
VEVO 2.1 builds on top of all that with iPhone 5 support (as well as compatibility for the 5th-gen iPod touch), which lets you “watch even larger videos on that big screen;” iOS 6 support, so that videos run without a hiccup on Apple’s latest mobile OS; and native Facebook integration “for seamless sharing with friends,” according to the developers.
