14 DAY TRIAL // Electronic Arts is offering Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar as a free download on iPhone and iPod touch this week.
Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar is an online, multiplayer, action role-playing game (RPG) where players form parties with up to 3 other friends and venture into challenging missions.
“Slay your enemies and stop The Black Weep in fast-paced co-op action combat,” says EA.
The publisher cautions iDevice owners that “this is a highly detailed game of superior quality,” urging them to ensure that they have just shy of 2GB free space on their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, for installation.
Although the requirements list says even the iPhone 3GS is supported, EA mentions that the best game experience will be achieved on iPad 2, 3 and 4, iPod touch 5th-generation, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5.
Beware of the in-app purchases (some of which cost tens of dollars), and be sure to download this one on a WiFi connection.
