UC Browser, one of the most popular mobile browsers available on the market, has just been updated with new features and improvements on Windows Phone platform.

Developed by Chinese company UCWeb, UC Browser has millions of users on most mobile platforms, including Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Symbian and Java.

The Windows Phone browser has been in testing for quite a while, but developers have promised that they will bring lots of new features that will make UC Browser even more powerful.

Today, UC Browser 3.3 has been released in Windows Phone Store and the official changelog contains most of the features promised by developers.

First of all, UC Browser users will now be able to pin their favorite features as well as websites to their Speed Dial. Another important change is the addition of Wi-Fi Sharing. With Wi-Fi Sharing, users will be able to share their downloaded files to other devices via the same Wi-Fi connection.

Furthermore, UCWeb has done some under the hood changes in order to enhance the browser’s performance. Thanks to the new changes, UC Browser users will be able to access popular websites more conveniently with developers’ improved, easy-to-use site navigation.

It is also worth mentioning that UC Browser 3.3 for Windows Phone supports geo-location sharing. With the new feature, users can now share their current location to their friends via Facebook and other websites.

Live Tiles and splash screens have been updated with UCWeb’s greetings during the holiday season. That’s about all the changes confirmed by developers for the latest version of UC Browser for Windows Phone, but stay tuned for more details on upcoming features for the application.

You can now download UC Browser for Windows Phone 3.3 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
