14 DAY TRIAL // UC BrowserHD, the Windows 8 version of the popular mobile browser, has been around for a while, but it was only available in Chinese, with no option or add-on to switch to English.
The app is now available in the global version of the Windows Store with English support, so all those who wish to download it can do it right now at no cost.
UC BrowserHD for Windows 8 comes with a pretty great feature package, including a built-in download manager, speed dial, bookmarks and several pre-defined search engines.
Pages seem to load a bit faster than in the Metro version of Internet Explorer, so even if it doesn’t come with too many configuration settings, it’s still a good replacement for the standard browser.
