A new flavor of the popular UC Browser application is now available for download for the owners of Symbian-based devices, namely version 9.1.0.

The new application release was meant to provide users with convenient and efficient web browsing capabilities, courtesy of a series of appealing new features and enhancements.

One of the main changes in the new application release is the fast access that it provides to Cloud Download.

Basically, the updated mobile browser enables users to start Cloud Downloading straight from the download manager on their S60v3, S60v5, and Symbian 3 mobile phones.

At the same time, the new browser release makes it easier for users to access the textbox.

“You can set a shortcut to take you directly the first textbox on the page, making browsing much faster on S60v3,” UCWeb, the company that builds the UC Browser, explains in a forum post.

The new UC Browser for Symbian 9.1.0 also comes with a series of optimizations to the virtual keyboard and user interface.

Following the update, users will see that the keyboard has become more intuitive than before, enabling them to hit keys easier. Furthermore, owners of S60v5 and Symbian 3 devices will also be able to slide around the keyboard, UCWeb notes.

At the same time, the new browser iteration arrives on mobile phones with a series of user interface optimizations in the Settings menu, as well as with other visual enhancements.

On top of all that, there are a series of bug fixes and various performance improvements included in the application, all destined to deliver a better overall experience to all users.

Available for a variety of mobile platforms, UC Browser is one of the most popular mobile browsers out there, with over 400 million users worldwide, and the top such application in India, according to recent reports.
