UC Browser 9.0 for Java phones entered closed beta about two weeks ago, but developers decided to release the first test version of the browser 10 days ago so it can receive enough feedback to fix all the issues that probably plagued the initial build.

Well, it looks like the move was rewarding for both users and developers, as UC Web has just released a second test version of UC Browser for Java phones, which addresses lots of the bugs reported.

According to developers, a new “bitmap font” feature has been added and the problems listed below have been fixed:

- Direct input issue; - Video & audio online play; - Tab color; - Files cannot be deleted in file manager; - Improved theme; - Test version cannot be installed in some phones; - Surfing speed is slowed while downloading; - Download list is automatically cleared; - Google Captcha.

UC Browser 9.0 (test version) is now available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all Java phones. Check it out here.
