14 DAY TRIAL // The people behind the immensely popular UC Browser have made a new release on the iOS front, incorporating a bunch of new beta features in the jailbreak version of their application.
UC Browser 8.9 is currently available only for jailbroken devices, meaning it’s not yet available in the iTunes App Store, which Apple so carefully curates (though not always).
The new flagship feature in UC Browser 8.9 iOS is Offline Videos. According to the developer, the new UC Browser lets you “download online videos and watch them offline, saving time and data usage.”
Cloud Download is another new addition, which “offers easier downloads, with all files supported and a faster download speed.” In other words, the browser’s built-in download manager has been enhanced.
Finally, UC Browser 8.9 supports themes. Users can shake their iPhone to switch themes and they can set the app to switch between day and night mode in accordance with their environment.
