Download UC Browser 8.1 for BlackBerry

The new version comes with several improvements and tweaks

One of the most popular browsers for mobile devices, UC Browser continues to make headlines shortly after developers announced the beta version for BlackBerry devices.

Well, it looks like UC Web, the company behind the highly-acclaimed mobile browser only needed a week to fix all bugs and issues in the beta version.

UC Browser 8.1 is now available for download and promises that new features and improvements will make users’ experience smoother than before.

Given the fact that it’s been a long time since the last update, we expect the latest version of UC Browser for BlackBerry to come packed with lots of goodies.

Firstly, developers confirmed that the installation package was now even smaller, making the installation process much faster.

There’s a new function included for social network addicts, which is called Share Images and Links on Facebook. As the name suggests, users will be able to share images and links on Facebook much easier while on the move.

With the newly added UC Associated Program, UC Browser for BlackBerry users can now open links they receive in SMS, MMS,WAP push and built-in browser, thus providing a much smoother experience.

Furthermore, version 8.1 for BlackBerry devices comes with another new feature called Webpage Embedded Keyboard, which allows users to input text in webpage directly.

Something that most browsers already have, the option to change the font size, has been integrated into UC Browser for BlackBerry as well, but to a slightly more complex level.

Basically, previous versions of the application only had three choices: Big, Medium and Small, but UC Browser 8.1 for BlackBerry allows users to set any font size they want. Last but not least, new shortcuts have been added in order for users to navigate even faster.

UC Browser 8.1 for BlackBerry is now available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all devices running BlackBerry OS 4.2 and up. Check it out here.
