Trillian, an iPhone app that helps you organize and stay in touch with your IM and social friends while on-the-go, has been updated to version 1.5.0.112, which should improve connection stability, fix crashes, improve speed, and fix as many bugs as possible, according to Cerulean Studios, LLC.
A five-dollar app, Trillian allows users to receive instant push notifications, send pictures and messages, and optionally synchronize with Trillian for Mac, Windows, and the Internet.
Designed to seamlessly integrate with the iOS operating system, Trillian boasts a clean and concise user interface, which allows users to focus on the text.
“Version 1.5 of Trillian for iPhone has been approved and will be available in the App Store shortly!” reads an announcement over at
the Cerulean Studios blog.

The iTunes App Store description includes the following changelog:
- Major connection stability enhancements.
- Fixed rendering of URLs.
- In-app web browser for viewing URLs.
- Trillian emoticon integration and browser.
- Major startup time improvements.
- Many bugfixes and crash fixes.
“Our number one goal with version 1.5 was to improve connection stability, fix crashes, improve speed, and address as many corner cases as we possibly could. As a result, we’ve fixed a large number of bugs and improved many different internal areas of code,” Cerulean Studios continues.
“Loading and resuming Trillian has also been dramatically sped up, especially for those of you with large contact lists,” the developer promises.
Additionally, the app sports a new emoticon browser featuring the familiar Trillian emoticons.
The folks at Cerulean also trust the update will have fixed the annoying URL rendering issues.
Finally, the software company has added an in-app browser to view links easily from within the mobile app.
