Total Commander remains one of the top choices for Windows users out there looking for a truly powerful file manager, so every single update is fairly important for everyone.

A new beta version released today is supposed to improve the overall performance of the app by fixing some of the issues found in the previous builds and thus provide a bug-free experience, regardless of the Windows version you are running.

According to the official changelog, Total Commander 8.50 Beta 2a brings the new tc7zif.dll file, which wasn't included in the installer and caused random errors when trying to unpack 7z files.

Otherwise, Total Commander remains the same great file manager that’s based on a wide array of features which include a built-in a file viewer, an FTP client, archive handling, and support for several operations, such as copying, moving, and renaming.
