While there’s no torrent client available on Windows 8 workstations for the time being, there are several apps that allow users to connect to a PC running uTorrent with webUI activated.

Torrent Buddy, for example, is an easy to use software solution that offers you the option to start, stop, pause and delete torrents without leaving the Metro interface, while also offering an eye-candy look to check torrent details very fast.

The application supports managing multiple uTorrent servers from the same interface, but it also comprises settings to add new torrents via file download or magnet links.

Torrent Buddy can get along with all Windows 8 versions, including x86, x64 and ARM builds, and even if no free version is available, the trial build can be used for up to seven days at no cost.
