The latest Tomb Raider game from developer Square Enix and publisher Feral Interactive is officially available for download on the Mac App Store.

Bearing quite a hefty price tag ($49.99 / £34.99 / €44.99) and system requirements that will make you hate yourself for not upgrading your Mac when you hand the chance, “Tomb Raider” is the series reboot featuring a young Lara Croft who gets marooned on an uncharted island and “enters a fight for survival armed with nothing but her instincts,” according to the game’s marketing.

Tomb Raider is also the first Tomb Raider (they seriously need to reconsider the name of the game) that features multiplayer, namely a competitive team death-match mode where two teams battle for supremacy.

You’ll need a “minimum” 2.0GHz Intel processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 512MB graphics card to play it, so be sure that you have at least these specs before you download Tomb Raider. The “recommended” specs are higher, obviously.
