Removing Windows Store apps from Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 isn’t such a difficult task since you can do it directly from the Start screen, but the whole process could take a lot more time if you want to get rid of multiple apps.

That’s why this tiny script released by Microsoft for Windows 8, but also working on Windows 8.1, can come in very handy.

“This script can be used to remove multiple Windows Store apps from a user account in Windows 8. It provides a list of installed Windows Store apps. You can specify the application IDs, and remove them all at once,” Microsoft explained.

All you need to do is download the ZIP archive, extract all files, and run the script. Simply choose the apps you wish to uninstall and you’re ready to go. A detailed manual is also included in case you need some help.
