14 DAY TRIAL // The cool Weather Channel iPhone app backed by 200 meteorologists and the ultra-local TruPoint forecasting technology is getting a leg up with a new Radar feature that lets you know where the storms are headed.
The Weather Channel version 5.2.0 sports a new Future Radar feature which, in the developer’s own words, lets you “know where the storm is going to go.” Another nifty addition is the ability to pull the UI down to refresh your weather data. Alternately, you can just press the new refresh icon.
The update further includes bug fixes and optimizations that should ensure smooth sailing (pun intended).
The Weather Channel 5.2.0 is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone 5.
