If you like Terraria on your iPhone or iPad, prepare to fall in love with it all over again, as 505 Games is now offering full controller support via a simple software update.

Well, it’s easier said than done, because apparently the game only supports a specific type of controller from the people at Logitech.

According to 505 Games, Terraria version 1.1.7 supports the new Logitech PowerShell Controller, which I’ve briefly covered in a recent post. The developer also tells newcomers that local Wi-Fi games support up to 4 players, cross-platform.

“In Terraria, every world is unique -- from the floating islands in the sky to the deepest level of The Underworld. Adventure to the ends of the earth, and defeat villainous bosses along the way. The world is your canvas,” says 505 Games.

Since it’s a universal binary, you can download Terraria on any iDevice resting assured that it will run natively, regardless of your screen type and / or resolution.
