TechTool Pro 7.0.2 is an updated version of Micromat’s powerful OS X utility which scans your CPU, memory, and video hardware to identify problems before they cost too much to repair.

Micromat Inc. has updated its expensive Macintosh utility with support for OS X 10.9 aka Mavericks and for creating an eDrive on CoreStorage (FileVault 2) and Apple Fusion Drives.

Test and tool animations are now available again (for OS X 10.7 or newer). Creating eDrives for standard user accounts is no longer possible. Bonjour service names have been updated for the Local Network tool, and language support now includes updated French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified) translations.

Two user-reported bugs, involving crashes at the end of Memory Test and iCloud email alerts, are also fixed. Existing users can download TechTool Pro 7.0.2 free of charge, whereas newcomers will pay $99.99 (€74.60) for the application.
