TangoMe, Inc. has released an updated version of “Tango Text, Voice, and Video,” a complete mobile communication solution that combines video calls, phone calls, text messages, photo sharing, and even games.
90 million people around the world are reaping the benefits of Tango. The app is said to offer the highest quality video calls on mobile devices, though I’m sure Apple would like to dispute that claim.
You can use animations, filters, and avatars to make your calls more fun, and you can even challenge your friends to a game during calls.
Version 2.6.36915 is now out in the App Store with a new central gallery for all your pictures and videos as well as improved call handling. The usual bag of fixes is also incorporated in this release.
Tango is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. It requires iOS 4.3 or later.
